Last Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Come and Sing workshop for singers and choral conductors with the incredible Tori Longdon and Jonas Rasmussen all the way from Denmark 🇩🇰✨ What a gorgeous day of coming together and doing what we love most; using our voices to make music together. Around 300 of us filled St John’s Waterloo during the day, with a smaller group gathering again in the evening, and the atmosphere throughout was truly something special. It felt inspirational, uplifting, and honestly a little bit magical connecting with so many friends and colleagues, learning alongside some of the friendliest heroes you could hope to meet. What a year it’s been with this incredible group ❤️From laughs to a few tears, smooth moments to the tougher ones — you kept showing up, pushing through, and growing every step of the way. Your first year journeys have been anything but small, and you’ve all come so far. You should be so proud of yourselves, because I certainly am. You’ve taught me just as much as I hope I’ve given you — such a talented, resilient, and inspiring bunch. I can’t wait to see where the next two years (and beyond) take you. What a Tuesday! 🙌✨ Packed morning with brilliant case studies and presentations from the Charing Cross and Guy’s & St Thomas’ voice clinic teams 👏 So many insightful discussions about building and refining truly interdisciplinary voice clinics — always inspiring to see collaboration done well. Chaired by ENT Nick Gibbins (Lewisham & President of the BLA) — thank you for leading such an informative and thought-provoking session. Highlights included learning the art of nasendoscopy on the most compliant patient ever… our trusty dummy (aka “Bob” 😂), and bravely being scoped by SLTs and clinicians in training!
